Looking for what to watch on Netflix today? Well, you came to the right place!

We shared the full list of new Netflix movies and shows today, Monday, March 22, 2021. It’s been a pretty good month of Netflix new releases so far, but it’s only going to get better with more than 20 new Netflix movies and shows coming this week.

You’ll also find the daily Netflix Top 10 lists for the best Netflix movies and the best Netflix shows to watch today!

New Netflix movies and shows today

It’s a rather slow day for new Netflix movies and shows. There are only two new titles today, and we shared them below.

  • Philomena
  • Navillera

Philomena is the new Netflix movie you’ll want to watch if you haven’t seen it yet. It’s been on Netflix before, but if you missed it last round, now is the time!

The movie is based on the remarkable true story of Philomena Lee and her search to find her son who she’d been forced to give up for adoption. Judi Dench and Steve Coogan star in the film.

Best Netflix movies: March 22, 2021

Below, we shared a look at the best Netflix movies to watch right now, according to the Netflix Top 10.

  1. Yes Day
  2. Deadly Illusions
  3. Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal
  4. Savages
  5. Jiu Jitsu
  6. Skylines
  7. The Last Blockbuster
  8. The BFG
  9. Bigfoot Family
  10. Secret Life of Pets 2

Yes Day starring Jennifer Garner is still No. 1 on Netflix. For a long time the Netflix series Ginny and Georgia claimed the top spot, but that all changed last week. Since then, Yes Day has been the top movie since.

Deadly Illusions starring Kristin Davis, Dermot Mulroney, and Greer Grammer is the second most popular movie on Netflix right now, followed by the new documentary about the recent college admissions scandal, Operation Varsity Blues, Savages starring Blake Lively, and Jiu Jitsu starring Nicolas Cage.

You can’t go wrong with any of those movies, honestly! I won’t be surprised if Jiu Jitsu rises in the ranks the next few days after more people a movie about Jiu-Jitsu fighters, including Cage’s character, fighting off aliens to save the planet.

Best Netflix shows

In the overall Netflix Top 10, there are only three shows represented, along with seven movies.

Ginny and Georgia is still the most popular TV show on right now, and it’s been like that for about a month when the series premiered on Feb. 24.

The One and The Lost Pirate Kingdom are the other two Netflix shows on the overall Top 10 list. We shared the TV Top 10 list below!

  1. Ginny and Georgia
  2. The One
  3. The Lost Pirate Kingdom
  4. Cocomelon
  5. Country Comfort
  6. iCarly
  7. Formula 1: Drive to Survive
  8. Miraculous: Tales of Lady Bug and Cat Noir
  9. Zero Chill
  10. Marriage or Mortgage

Of those titles, Country Comfort starring Katherine McPhee and Formula 1: Drive to Survive are the newest titles. Both Netflix shows premiered on March 19.

I’m a little surprised not to see Sky Rojo, a new drama from Money Heist creator Alex Pina, on the list. I’m sure that will be one of the most popular TV shows of the month.

What to watch on Netflix

If I were you, I’d check out Sky Rojo! I think that’s the next big Netflix show to catch on.

I’d also revisit some of the shows and movies you might have missed this month so far, like The One, Zero Chill, Yes Day, and Operation Varsity Blues.

Crazy, Stupid, Love was also just added to Netflix on March 1, and that’s one of my favorite rom-coms of all time. It’s great the first time you watch, but it’s also a great re-watch!
