The series follows a group of troubled teens. They group together to form the Baker Street Irregulars, and the series itself will show Holmes in a way you never expected to see him. Dr. Watson and Holmes are actually sinister characters in this series, using the group of teens to their advantage to solve crimes.

These crimes aren’t your normal variety, either. There’s a supernatural edge to them, and a dark power is emerging. It’s going to be up to the teens to save London (and the world) from this supernatural threat.

Is The Irregulars based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyles’s works?

The Baker Street Irregulars are introduced in the world of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Holmes uses the group of kids to help get clues. This is Victorian London and small hands were good for pickpocketing. Holmes is not the first to use small children to help with work, whether you like it or not.

It’s in the adaptation for Netflix where there’s a far more sinister side of things when it comes to Holmes’s character. He’s a drug addict and a deliquent. The kids are the ones who solve the crimes while Holmes takes all the credit for it.
