What is Netflix’s Country Comfort about?

According to the official synopsis, Country Comfort is about Bailey Hart, an aspiring country singer taking a small detour from chasing her dreams and becoming a nanny for a family of six. She navigates what it means to have big aspirations put on hold in order to have ends meet and learns to embrace the journey and all its bumps and bruises.

Bailey Hart is portrayed by American actress and singer Katharine McPhee (Scorpion, American Idol) and we even get a few glimpses of McPhee’s powerful voice in the series. Eddie Cibrian (CSI: Miami) co-stars as the father of the family.

Though released not too long ago, fans are already looking forward to a possible second season of the show as the show was rather well-received by Netflix viewers and critics alike.

While the second season of the series has not been confirmed as of yet, we can tell that this original series will be our new feel-good show as it encourages viewers to follow their heart, find their families, and sing their songs.

It is a beautiful combination of hilarious, heartfelt, and, well, comforting as Country Comfort makes Netflix families come together through the power of togetherness and music.
