How many seasons of Outlander are on Netflix?

So far, there have been 67 exceptional episodes of the Starz original series Outlander over five glorious seasons of time-bending drama and romance, with two more seasons already on the way leading many subscribers to wonder how many entries of the well-crafted show are available on Netflix.

The historical drama is based on the best-selling novels written by Diana Gabaldon and created for television by Ronald D. Moore, whose other credits include Apple’s For All Mankind, Battlestar Galactica, Helix, and several Star Trek shows. Outlander follows Caitriona Balfe’s character Claire Randall, a married World War II nurse who is transported back to 1743  during the Jacobite rising, where she meets Sam Heughan’s Jamia Fraser, a Highland Warrior.

The first ordeal was based on the book outlander or Cross Stitch as it’s known in the UK and Outlander in the U.S., with the follow-up following the events of Dragonfly in Amber. The third run is based on Voyager, the fourth set of episodes covers Drums of Autumn, and the fifth following what happens in The Fiery Cross and some of A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

The upcoming sixth and seventh seasons are mostly based on A Breath of Snow and Ashes and An Echo in the Bone. With so many excellent entries to experience from the award-winning, critically acclaimed series with stellar Rotten Tomatoes, it’s no wonder some people are wondering how many seasons of Outlander are available to stream on Netflix.

How many seasons of Outlander are available on Netflix?

Outlander is without a doubt one of the most-watched licensed shows the streaming service has to offer, but unfortunately, it doesn’t have every entry on hand. There are currently four seasons available for subscribers to stream on Netflix.

According to Claire and Jamie, The US version of the streaming service gets new seasons of Outlander two years after the season finale airs. So Netflix will most likely get Outlander season 5 in May 2022.

As far as season 6, all signs point to Drougtlander ending sometime in 2022 with no exact dates to mark on the calendar. So if the timetable utilized with past iterations coming to the streaming powerhouse, the sixth ordeal won’t arrive until 2024.

When it comes to season 7 of Outlander, fans may be better off hoping to be magically transported to a few years into the future to see that chapter on Netflix. It will be a while before that set of entries arrives.
