Is New Amsterdam on Netflix in 2021?

New Amsterdam is officially back! The third installment of the popular medical drama began on NBC on March 2, 2021, and we’re now getting to see how the hospital has dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic. Major conflicts are already unfolding this season, as expected, as Dr. Kapoor is in bad shape and Dr. Reynolds makes an unexpected visit back to perform surgery. Without going into too many spoilers, New Amsterdam season 3 is certainly starting off strong.

Since the latest season is now airing on ABC, there’s no reason to believe it would end up on Netflix anytime soon. There is no release date for the season 3 finale yet, and of course it would have to be completed to catch it on a streaming service like Netflix. But what about New Amsterdam seasons 1 and 2? Are they available to catch up on via the platform?

Unfortunately, no seasons of New Amsterdam are currently streaming on Netflix. If you’re in the mood for a medical drama series, however, you can definitely find what you’re looking for on the platform. Shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, and The Night Shift are currently available to watch on Netflix. Unfortunately, the medical series Nurse Jackie and Hart of Dixie are no longer on the streaming service.

But if you are set on streaming New Amsterdam, you can find it on Peacock and on the NBC website or app with a cable subscription. You can also, of course, tune in live for the current third season, airing every Tuesday night at 10:00 p.m. EST on NBC.
