Morgan Freeman movies and shows

Morgan Freeman is a household name and an incredible talent with numerous accolades, including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award, but the one thing he’s yet to do is star in a Netflix production. He did recently appear in a streaming project, playing himself in Amazon Prime’s Coming to America sequel, but beyond that, all of his projects are regular films without any attachment to Netflix.

Next, he’ll star alongside Ruby Rose in an action crime thriller titled Vanquish and alongside Ryan Reynolds, Salma Hayek and Samuel L. Jackson in The Hitman’s Bodyguard sequel The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. He is also working with Amazon again for a big Amazon anthology series called Solos which also stars actors like Anne Hathaway, Uzo Aduba, Helen Mirren and many more significant stars.

That’s not to say he can’t ever star in Netflix, but given his work with Amazon, it seems like Freeman is tied up for the near future. Several of his projects are streaming though, including The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, 5 Flights Up, Angel Has Fallen and Invictus. So if you are eager to watch a movie with the legendary actor, you’ve got your pick, even if they aren’t technically “Netflix” films.
