Stars who have never been in Netflix movies and shows
Despite the ongoing “streaming wars,” so to speak, Netflix remains the top dog. With millions of subscribers and countless original television shows and movies, it seems like anyone who’s anyone in Hollywood has starred in one of the service’s own programs. But you might be surprised to find out that there are plenty of performers who have yet to appear on Netflix. It doesn’t necessarily mean they’re against the streaming service, just that the right project hasn’t come along, or their schedules are too busy to make room for a Netflix series that could take a substantial chunk of their time to film!
Oscar winners, Emmy winners, Tony winners, you name it. Netflix is powerful enough to recruit powerhouse producers like Ryan Murphy and Shonda Rhimes, and with superstar, producers come A-list actors and actresses! Yet the following 25 stars haven’t found a project they like just yet, it would appear.
From Margot Robbie to Evan Peters and beyond, the following list highlights 25 actors who have yet to appear in Netflix movies or television shows, at least on-screen. They might have tangential connections, such as producing a film or appearing in a movie that streams on Netflix, but they haven’t actually appeared on-screen in an in-house Netflix series or movie.
Evan Peters movies and shows
Evan Peters is a tremendously popular actor best known for starring roles in the horror anthology American Horror Story and his turn as Quicksilver in the X-Men films. Most recently, he returned to reprise his role as Pietro in the Disney+ series WandaVision –– well, sort of. Given his popularity and massive, loyal fanbase, you’d think Peters might have appeared in some Netflix movies or television series, but that’s actually not the case.
Several of his projects are currently available to stream on Netflix, such as American Horror Story, Pose and even the 2019 film I Am Woman, which he stars alongside Tilda Cobham-Hervey, but none of those are Netflix movies.
Next for the 34-year-old actor, he’ll appear in Mare of Easttown, an upcoming HBO miniseries he co-stars with Kate Winslett and Jean Smart. Beyond that, he’s also set to return for the tenth season of American Horror Story after taking some time off. Still, no Netflix projects are on the horizon for him just yet.
That said, after he finishes filming American Horror Story, it looks like his schedule is wide open. It seems like only a matter of time before Netflix swoops in and snaps him up as his fans would surely love to see him appear on the streaming service.
