Are you a sucker for teen romantic shows on Netflix? If so, then you’ve probably heard of Love Alarm. The South Korean series follows the lives of three teenage high school students who quickly find themselves a part of a very intense love triangle. And all three of the central characters lead drastically different lives.

While Lee Hye-Yeong (Jung Ga-ram) and Hwang Sun-Oh (Song Kang) are longtime friends, their inability to see things from the other’s point of view, paired with the fact that they both like Kim Jojo (Kim So-hyun), only brings a strain to their relationship. Throughout the series, it’s hard not to wonder: Who will Jojo end up with between the two young men pursuing her?

Oh, and did I mention Jojo, Sun-Oh, and Hye-Yeong are all also dealing with the emergence of a popular mobile app that alerts other students when you have a crush on them? Yeah, not the ideal situation when you’re trying to remain mum about your romantic feelings. Love Alarm season 1 certainly had its fair share of ups and downs for the three main characters, along with other conflicts with fellow students like Park Gul-mi (Go Min-si). There’s also a four-year time jump towards the end of the season, complicating things even further.

If you’re here to find out who Jojo ultimately ends up with in Love Alarm season 1, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve got spoilers for the first season below!

Do Jojo and Sun-Oh end up together in Love Alarm?

Although Jojo and Sun-Oh do test out a romantic relationship, they do not end up together at the end of season 1. As viewers will recall, Sun-Oh almost immediately falls for Jojo after he arrives back from the United States, even though he discovers that his best friend Hye-Yeong has a crush on her. Unable to help himself, Sun-Oh goes after Jojo, and the two start dating once Jojo downloads the Love Alarm app and it reveals her true feelings.

By the time jump in episode 6, however, Jojo and Sun-Oh are no longer an item. Sun-Oh ends up dating Lee Yuk-jo (Kim Si-eun), and to the surprise of no one, Hye-Yeong begins courting Jojo.

Do Jojo and Hye-Yeong end up together in Love Alarm?

For those rooting for Jojo and Hye-Yeong to make it, you’re in luck. They do in fact end up together in Love Alarm season 1! The two end up having a really healthy relationship, and it’s evident they grow as people together.

But are Jojo and Hye-Yeong in it for the long haul? With Love Alarm season 2 on the horizon, your guess is as good as mine. In season 1, the couple had not yet confirmed with Jojo’s Love Alarm officially whether or not she and Hye-Yeong were meant to be together. In the trailer for the next season, it looks like Jojo might still have feelings for Sun-Oh.

This love triangle is far from over! Check out the trailer for Love Alarm season 2 below as we wait for it to debut on Netflix this Friday, March 12.
