Elite season 5 release date, cast, trailer, synopsis and more

Fans are so excited to dive into Elite season 5, and the good news is we don’t have to wait much longer now to binge all eight new episodes!

In February 2021, Netflix announced that Elite seasons 4 and 5 were coming. Of course, since the premiere of the fourth season, the information on the next season had been limited. But now that we’re just one day away from the season 5 release, we finally know all the details, including the release date and casting updates.

Below we share everything you need to know about season 5, including some new actors cast in roles and much more. Anyone else counting down the hours until we can travel to Las Encinas again for more drama?!

Elite season 5 release date and release time

On March 14, Netflix finally revealed the Elite season 5 release date. All eight episodes of the new season will begin streaming on Friday, April 8. Like most Netflix releases, they will debut at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET.

Prior to the release date announcement, we had been looking at a 2022 release date at the earliest. The fifth season still needed to be written, filmed, and put through post-production at the time of season 4’s release last year.

Elite season 5 cast

When Deadline released the information about the renewal, it also shared two new actors joining the show. Cable Girls‘s Valentina Zenere and Juacas actor André Lamoglia are joining the cast for season 5, as well as many new cast members.

Elite season 5 synopsis

Without giving away any spoilers, Elite season 5 will pick up in the aftermath of season 4 as well as the new batch of short stories releases. As always, there will be plenty of drama, scandal, and romance that leads right into the forthcoming Elite season 6.
