Is Superstore on Netflix in 2021?
By D.J. Rivera
Superstore is a well-received NBC sitcom for the creators of The Office that Variety calls “a funny, pointed and essential workplace comedy,” and many subscribers are wondering if the show will finally make its way to Netflix in 2021.
The Office was a major hit until it left for Peacock, and chart-toppers like The Good Place and Good Girls have offered up some excellent binge sessions for TV viewers in need. NBC’s shows have resonated very well with Netflix subscribers, and it’s no secret that Superstore would make a magnificent addition to the streaming service’s impressive lineup.
The sitcom follows the unique group of individuals working at a big box store similar to a Wal-Mart or K-Mart called Cloud 9, and there is never a dull moment when fans clock-in to view this laugh-out-loud affair. Superstore stars America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nicos Santos, and Mark Mckinney.
The show aired on Nov. 30, 2015, and there have been five exceptional seasons with a sixth and final run in progress. There is no denying that Superstore would make an ideal binge session making it understandable why subscribers would be wondering if it’s coming to the streaming service this year.
Is Superstore on Netflix?
Unfortunately, the news is not ideal as to whether or not subscribers will be able to experience the NBC workplace comedy sitcom. Superstore is available in other regions on the streaming service, but it is not on Netflix in the US and will not most certainly not be available in 2021.
While this isn’t great to find out, everyone should remember that the streaming powerhouse has plenty of great laugh-riot comedies to enjoy. Big Mouth, The Crew, Disenchantment, Space Force, and F is For Family are just some of the exceptional options available for those looking for something similar to Superstore.
Where to watch Superstore
Superstore is only available on Hulu, and at some point, it seems likely the show will move to Peacock similar to what The Office did, but the chances of it making its way to Netflix are not high.
