Directed by the one and only Amy Poehler, Moxie is set to premiere on Netflix tomorrow. Based on the novel of the same name by Jennifer Mathieu, the film will tell the story of a shy teenager named Vivian Carter (Hadley Robinson) who decides to take a stand against her high school’s sexist policies. Vivian begins to anonymously spread a self-made feminist magazine throughout her school, challenging the student body’s view of the world.

Amy Poehler will appear in the film as Vivian’s mother, Lisa Carter. Moxie will also feature the talents of Lauren Tsai, Josephine Langford, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Clark Gregg, Marcia Gay Harden, Sydney Park, Alycia Pascual-Peña, and Parsa Ghorbani.
