Netflix Life Podcast: New Netflix movies and shows to watch in March 2021

On the latest episode of Netflix Life: A Streaming TV Podcast, hosts Cody Schultz and me (Netflix Life editor Bryce Olin!) took a look at the list of March new releases on Netflix and picked five new Netflix movies and shows to watch during the month.

After dominating the Golden Globes as Cody predicted on the last episode, Netflix is a little thin on high-profile new releases in March, and there are a few reasons for that. Mainly, Netflix is investing billions into new original content. That means there’s always going to be shows and movies that don’t look familiar.

The pandemic caused so many production delays. Very few shows and movies were being filmed between March and September 2020. That’s likely causing a bunch of issues with Netflix’s schedule. All those returning shows, and some new shows, were forced to delay things by at least six months.

So, that’s why we’re seeing less well-known shows and movies, and more new Netflix movies and shows in March 2021. That’s not a bad thing, necessarily, and there are more than a few titles worth watching. Listen to the new episode of the Netflix Life Podcast below!
