What is Kaya Scodelario from Spinning Out doing now?

After just one season, the psychological and mental dissection of figure skater Kat Baker (Kaya Scodelario) in Spinning Out came to a close and, since then, the Maze Runner star has starred in period adventure fantasies like The King’s Daughter–where a musician aims to save a mermaid from a terrible fate–and crime mini-series such as The Pale Horse, following the story of a trio of witches who are suspected of being responsible for a series of sudden deaths.

Now, Scodelario’s next big production is Resident Evil, which will be a reboot of the Resident Evil films based on the popular horror video games series of the same name.

Now in post-production, it will be directed by 47 Meters Down‘s Johannes Roberts and starring Scodelario alongside Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hopper and Neal McDonough.

Resident Evil, a German-American survival horror film, is in production with Constantin Film and Sony Pictures Entertainment. The plot of the movie is currently being kept under wraps until production is completed.
