What is Adrian Holmes of V Wars doing now?

It’s not easy losing your best friend after turning into a vampire, but then to have your show canceled after just one season? That’s the nail in the coffin. After one season on Netflix, V Wars, the sci-fi horror series starring Adrian Holmes and Ian Somerhalder, was cut short as one of the many canceled Netflix shows.

Despite modern visual effects mixed with the nostalgic vibe of old-school monster movies, V Wars couldn’t make the cut on Netflix.

But it appears Holmes made quite the impression in the world of crime and thriller storytelling and now has three projects in the pipeline. While their plots and other details are being kept under wraps, Holmes will be appearing in both Rick Dugdale’s 92, Bradley Stryker’s Sheltering Season,

Holmes will also be staring in the crime thriller Chained. The story follows an abused and bullied boy who discovers and befriends a criminal chained inside an abandoned warehouse. As if that’s not enough of a gut turner, the plot’s description goes on to say that, “after a violent betrayal the abused becomes the abuser,” which puts both the boy and the criminal’s lives in danger.

The story is directed and written by Titus Heckel, known for With Child and The Better Man, and stars Marlon Kazadi, Aleks Paunovic and Holmes.
