The extremely popular Netflix docuseries Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 3 has finally announced its long-awaited release date with a brand new teaser trailer giving fans a glimpse of what’s in store.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive offers Netflix subscribers an unprecedented and exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the world of Formula 1 racing that fans have made a hit on the streaming service. The first two chapters highlighted the 2018 and 2019 seasons of the sport, and Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 3 looks to dive deep into the 2020 season that was unlike any year F1 has ever seen before.

The entire affair was not immune to the coronavirus pandemic as it forced the planned season start to be canceled, delaying fans the excitement of Formula 1 to the point many feared there would be no season at all. Then when things finally did pick up, many drivers ended up sidelined after contracting the virus.

While there were undoubtedly several less than ideal moments of the 2020 F1 season, there were also some epic endeavors making up the greatest hits list of last year’s out-of-the-ordinary run. Extraordinary victories from Pierre Gasly and Sergio Perez, as well as Lewis Hamilton’s multi-record breaking run, are just some of the things subscribers should look forward to getting a front-row seat for in Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 3.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 3 looks to be another great addition that is set to arrive on the streaming service on March 19, 2021.

The streaming service and F1 commemorated the big announcement of the hugely anticipated documentary series with a brand new teaser trailer.

From the looks of the exciting promo, the next installment of unparalleled access to the fast-paced, death-defying world of Formula 1 racing will be one eye-opening, pulse-pounding experience with plenty of high-octane action that fans will not want to miss. F1 also announced that a full trailer would be available in the coming weeks before the arrival of Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 3.
