Will Christina Ricci appear in the new Wednesday Addams series on Netflix?
If you’re a fan of The Addams Family franchise, then I have some great news for you. As we’ve previously reported, Tim Burton is directing an eight-episode live-action series called Wednesday that will center on everyone’s favorite morbid darling, Wednesday Addams.
Actress Christina Ricci is known for portraying Wednesday Addams in the 1991 film The Addams Family and its sequel, Addams Family Values. If you’re wondering whether or not Christina Ricci will make an appearance in the new Wednesday Addams series, then you’ve come to the right place. We have more information for you below.
Will Christina Ricci be in the new Wednesday Addams show?
As of right now, there is no news about whether or not Ricci will be making an appearance in Wednesday. Even if there were plans to have Christina Ricci appear on the show in some capacity, I think it would be great if viewers were surprised! And if that happens, it will be interesting to see who she plays, considering she portrayed arguably the most well-known version of Wednesday Addams.
Several other actresses have played the role since Wednesday Addams was first introduced to viewers in the character in the 1964 original sitcom. Actress Lisa Loring originated the role, but over the years the character was also played by Noelle Von Sonn, Nicole Fugere, Krysta Rodriguez, Rachel Potter, Lauren Revere, Melissa Hunter, Carrie Hope Fletcher, Cindy Henderson, Debi Derryberry, and Chloë Grace Moretz. I can’t wait to see who plays Wednesday in this new Netflix series!
There is currently no trailer available for Wednesday. It will most likely come out closer to the show’s premiere date.
