There is a new Stranger Things season 4 teaser!

As you may recall, Stranger Things pulled a similar stunt after season 3 aired. Fans could call and hear Murray Bauman’s voicemail message for Joyce that he left on his answering machine asking Joyce to call him. This new Stranger Things season 4 teaser feels very similar.

According to a report from PopBuzz, Stranger Things sent brown packages to a Stranger Things fan account. In the package, there were Russian dolls. And inside those, there was a phone number written for fans to call. That number is 907-206-7700.

If you call the number, you hear the voice of Yuri, a new Stranger Things season 4 character played by Nikola Djuricko, and he has a message for you. Well, actually, more like for Murray or Joyce.

Who is Yuri in Stranger Things season 4 and what does the message say?

As we learned last year, Yuri is a Russian smuggler who loves “crunchy peanut butter,” along with “bad jokes” and “cold, hard cash,” according to Netflix.

It appears this is the number for Yuri’s smuggling business. The area code, as the report mentions, is from Anchorage, Alaska. So, Yuri’s business is up in Alaska. Could you get any closer to Hopper? Doubtful!

What does Yuri’s message mean for Stranger Things season 4?

I think we all know what it means. Yuri might be Joyce and Murray’s ticket to Russia to save Hopper. That’s what all Stranger Things fans are thinking, anyway. Joyce and Murray, once they realize Hopper is alive, will need to figure out a way to save him from the Russian prison.

Will Eleven and the rest of the Stranger Things gang be involved? I hope so, but that might be a job for adults only!

Someone is going to help Hopper in Stranger Things season 4, and I think they’ll probably be doing it with Yuri’s help. If we’re reading into this correctly, Operation Save Hopper is in full swing in the new season.
