16. Grey’s Anatomy

This list would be nothing if Grey’s Anatomy wasn’t included. This show has more romances in a season than most other shows have in their entirety. With 17 seasons (16 of which are on Netflix), romance is one way to keep fans coming back for more.

The whole show started off of a romance after all. Meredith and Derek AKA McDreamy are what brought so many fans in to begin with and the relationships just built from there. There was Izzie and Alex (we don’t talk about what happened to him), Cristina with Preston and then eventually Owen, Callie, and Arizona, and George who was with like three different doctors at one point or another.

The show may be about weird medical phenomenons and saving patients’ lives, but it’s also about the doctors’ lives as well and there is a lot of romance, relationships, and conflict there.

If you’ve watched Grey’s Anatomy before, you should probably pick out your favorite romantic episodes and watch those because let’s be honest, 16 seasons isn’t happening in 24 hours. Pick your faves and leave the bad moments (did I mention Alex??) alone.

If this is your first time watching the popular medical drama, it’s best if you start from the beginning. There is plenty of romance from episode 1 to satisfy your Valentine’s Day binge-watching needs.

Grey’s Anatomy stars Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, James Pickles Jr., Kevin McKidd, Jesse Williams, Camilla Luddington, Caterina Scorsone, and Kelly McCreary.
