Is Crazy Rich Asians on Netflix?

Crazy Rich Asians is a well-written, laugh out loud romantic flick that stars Hustlers and Fresh Off the Boat actress Constance Wu and The Gentlemen’s Henry Golding. The film is based on the 2013 novel of the same name written by author Kevin Kwan, and it is definitely a stellar choice for a movie night with that special someone on Valentine’s Day.

The exceptional narrative Crazy Rich Asians has to offer follows a Chinese-American professor who travels to meet her boyfriend’s family only to discover he is from one of the richest families in Singapore. Things don’t go so well when she meets her man’s mother, and she struggles to live up to the expectations of these wealthy individuals a swell as struggling to maintain her relationship.

The Jon M. Chu directed film has received critical acclaim and has garnered a very impressive Rotten Tomatoes score. The 2018 Golden Globe nominee was one of the highest-grossing romantic comedy films of the last ten years and the sixth highest-grossing of all-time, making it an ideal choice to watch on Valentine’s day this year.

Besides Wu and Golding, Crazy Rich Asians also features a star-studded cast, including Awkwafinba, Michelle Yeoh, Gemma Chan, Lisa Lu, Remy Hii, Jimmy O. Yang, and Nicos Santos, among many others.

Between the story, the cast, and the accomplishments, the perfect pick for Valentine’s Day is no doubt a worthwhile endeavor. Whether it’s Valentine’s Day, Monday, or any other holiday, Crazy Rich Asians has everything fans want and will surely not disappoint.

Where to watch Crazy Rich Asians

Unfortunately, the news as to whether or not Crazy Rich Asians is on Netflix is not ideal for subscribers that were hoping to enjoy it with that special someone during Valentine’s Day. The 2018 rom-com is not available on the streaming service.

But there is still a plethora of options within the love-centric genre that the streamings powerhouse does have that will be ready to watch on Valentine’s Day. Films like To All The Boys I’ve Loved, The Kissing Booth, Holidate, and The Lovebirds are just some of the exceptional titles available for the special occasion.
