Netflix shows to watch: Firefly Lane

Firefly Lane is the most recent premiere on the list. The new Netflix original series premiered on Wednesday, Feb. 3, and it’s one of the most popular new shows of the year so far.

Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke star in the series, which follows the pair over several decades as best friends.

The series is based on the book of the same name by Kristin Hannah.

We’re expecting Firefly Lane to be renewed for season 2, especially after that finale. Yes, we have a big cliffhanger ending in Firefly Lane season 1.

Netflix shows to watch: Bridgerton

Bridgerton premiered on Netflix on Christmas Day, and since, it’s been the streaming network’s most popular original series. It’s been on the Netflix Top 10 for weeks, and usually, somewhere in the top three.

The romantic drama is based on the book series of the same name and is set in London’s Regency Era. It follows the most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes during the “season.” Lady Whistledown, who publishes a gossip column, stirs up drama.

Bridgerton is coming back for season 2 on Netflix.
