Zendaya movies and shows on Netflix
Zapped
Back in 2014, Zendaya starred in the teen comedy Zapped. The movie follows high school dancer Zoey Stevens (Zendaya) who discovers that an app on her phone has controlling powers. She uses her powers to make her brothers more obedient and to make her high school life a little easier.
This movie encompasses all of the classic aspects of the 2010s from the movie’s outfits and dance moves all the way to Zoey’s phone, an older generation iPhone.
You can also watch Malcolm and Marie and the animated movie, Duck Duck Goose, starring Zendaya on Netflix right now.
Zendaya movies and shows on Disney Plus
The Greatest Showman
Zendaya is phenomenal in this movie as acrobat Anne Wheeler. She plays the opposite of the dreamy Zac Efron who is Phillip Carlyle, her eventual love interest. This musical drama is show-stopping and cheesy, but it also doesn’t gloss over its subjects. The Greatest Showman tells the very fictionalized story of circus frontman P.T. Barnum and his journey through poverty, adversity and infidelity.
Frenemies
This is a 2012 Disney Channel movie based on a novel with the same name. Starring alongside Zendaya is Bella Thorne, Stefanie Scott (A.N.T. Farm) and Nick Robinson (Love, Simon). It is a Disney classic!
As described on Disney Plus:
"“Three very different sets of friends — a wiz kid and his skeptical dog, two competing writers and a pair of life-swapping look-alikes— deal with the ups and downs of friendships. As their intertwined relationships weave through each other, each person must learn what friendship means.”"
Shake It Up
The series Shake It Up also starred Zendaya and Bella Thorne as a duo to be reckoned with. They play Rocky Blue and CeCe Jones and their antics while on the set of the fictional dance show called Shake It Up Chicago. The two friends are constantly faced with their budding careers as professional dancers as well as the general complications that come with high school.
K.C. Undercover
In this casual comedy series, Zendaya plays the titular character, a young smarty-pants teen turned spy. The show follows the basis for most spy series and adapted it to entertain a younger audience. K.C. and her family battle the expected coming-of-age turbulences while they fight crime and go head-to-head with various evil villains.

Euphoria
Lastly is Zendaya’s award-winning show Euphoria. The show is also written by the showrunner of Malcolm and Marie, Sam Levinson. The show is seriously intense and raunchy. Last year, Zendaya won a Primetime Emmy Award for her performance as Rue and she is currently nominated for a 2021 Satellite Award.
Described by HBO:
"“Euphoria follows a group of high school students as they navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma, and social media.”"
Malcolm and Marie is available for streaming on Netflix.
