How much does Henry Cavill get paid?

Even though Henry Cavill has only recently become a Netflix star, the erstwhile Superman just might have one of the highest net worths on this list. Cavill began his career in 2001 with a film called Laguna, but since then, he has worked his way to movie star status with an estimated $40 million net worth, according to Celebrity Net Worth. The British actor rose to prominence thanks to his role in the 2007-2010 Showtime historical drama series The Tudors, which helped launch his big-screen career.

Following The Tudors, Cavill starred in movies such as Immortals, The Cold Light of Day, Man of Steel, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Mission: Impossible — Fallout. His role as Superman in Man of Steel continued for two additional movies, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. Cavill will again reprise his role of Superman for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, also known as the “Snyder Cut” of the 2017 film, which will be released on HBO Max in March 2021.

Cavill found further success on Netflix in 2019 when he took the leading role as Geralt of Rivia in the high-profile fantasy drama series The Witcher. For the eight episodes of the first season, Cavill reportedly earned $400,000 per episode, making him one of the highest-paid television actors of the year. Ahead of The Witcher’s second season in 2021, he starred in the Netflix original film Enola Holmes alongside fellow Netflix star Millie Bobby Brown and played another iconic character, Sherlock Holmes. Clearly, nothing can stop the modern man of steel.
