Kid Cosmic

You’re possibly looking for something for children during all of this. Netflix has a few options throughout the week, but it’s Kid Cosmic that stands out the most.

The animated sitcom follows a young boy who dreams about being a superhero. If it happened, he would be somewhere around New Mexico in a deserted area.

When the “5 Cosmic Stones of Power” are discovered on a spaceship that has crash landed on Earth, this young boy gets the chance to live out his dream. He needs to protect the world from an alien invasion.

He is not alone in doing this. He gets to team up with his grandpa, a four-year-old girl, a pet cat, and the female leader. They all have their own unique powers, including the ability to predict the future. I’ll leave you to figure out which one of the group can do that!

Their biggest threat is Stuck Chuck, who lost his legs while on a mission to get the Cosmic Stones, and now he’s stuck on Earth and out for revenge.

Is it all a fantasy or has this happened? You and your kids will want to watch to find out.

Watch Kid Cosmic on Netflix on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

The Sinner: Jamie

Finally, it’s all about the third season of USA Network’s The Sinner. Season 3 follows Jamie, played by Matt Bomer, and it is just as twisty and addictive as the first two seasons.

Just like previous seasons, there is only one connection to the previous seasons. Bill Pullman returns as Harry Ambrose, and we start to get to know a lot more about him and his past.

The focus, though, is on Jamie, who is involved in a car crash in Upstate New York. Ambrose is pulled in to investigate the case, and like all the others, there is far more to the situation than initially meets the eye.

The first episode brings out the initial mystery to the story, which suggests that Jamie was responsible for the death of his friend. Not only did he cause Nick to crash the car but he also delayed calling 9-1-1. We all know that the people in the seasons have some sort of story behind them for their actions, and this is just the same.

The Sinner: Jamie is on Netflix on Saturday, Feb. 6.
