When is the Legacies season 3 premiere?

After being delayed from its October 2020 release date to the dismay of fans, Legacies will finally make its triumphant return with its long-awaited and hugely anticipated new chapter. The Legacies season 3 premiere will air on The CW at 9 pm EST.

The well-crafted affair is a spinoff of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals and follows Hope Mikaelson, the tribrid daughter of a Vampire Wolf Hybrid, trying to make her way in the spellbinding world she inhabits. Legacies stars Danielle Rose Russell, Kaylee Bryant, Jenny Boyd, among many other talented individuals.

The hit fantasy drama has been off the year for almost a year, and fans are more than eager to see how the story will play out, especially considering what went down at the end of Legacies season 2. A lot of Handon fans out there are most likely more than curious to figure out what happened with Hope and Landon in the cliffhanger that saw them both in a sleep-like state.

The CW released some first-look photos to get fans excited for Legacies season 3, and it seems like Alaric will be dealing with the Necromancer in the first episode. And when you read the plot details for what is set to go down, all signs point to an extremely eventful and entertaining entry in the series.

"LET THE GAMES BEGIN — In order to get a handle on some urgencies at the school, Alaric (Matthew Davis) sends the students off-campus for their first-ever field day.But when a medieval monster arrives with a challenge, the students are left scrambling to guess which one of them may be a worthy opponent.Danielle Rose Russell, Aria Shahghasemi, Kaylee Bryant, Jenny Boyd, Quincy Fouse, Peyton Alex Smith, Chris Lee and Ben Levin also star. Jeffrey Hunt directed the episode written by Penny Cox & Cynthia Adarkwa (#301). Original airdate 1/21/2021."

It will be interesting to see the medieval monster and what challenges await the students of Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. The CW series with an impressive Rotten Tomatoes Score rarely ever disappoints, and the show’s first-ever field day will be an occasion that fans will not want to miss.

The series is a real hit with Netflix subscribers, and they will be very anxious to stream the new episodes. The first two installments ended up on the streaming service eight days after the season finale, so if that timetable holds up, fans will have to wait to watch them on Netflix until sometime between July and September 2021.
