Is Imposters canceled?

After discovering the series on Netflix, new fans wondering if Imposters season 3 will ever happen.

Imposters premiered two seasons on Bravo back in 2017 and 2018. After both seasons wrapped on the network, Netflix streamed the series and it picked up a bigger fan base. But is big enough for Imposters season 3?

The mystery drama follows Maddie (Inbar Lavi, Lucifer), a con-artist who marries victims for their money or valuable possessions. Once the job is done, she leaves and moves on to the next target.

Maddie may have underestimated her last few victims, though. And they’re not happy. Imposters also stars Rob Heaps, Parker Young, and  Marianne Rendon.

Despite the series being discovered by many once it landed on Netflix, Imposters continues to gather more fans. And these fans want to know if Imposters season 3 will ever happen, after all, it’s been over a year since Bravo canceled the series.

Is Imposters season 3 happening?

Earlier in 2020, I believed Imposters season 3 was a possibility. Lavi was cast in Lucifer, which means the streaming network appreciated the talented star. However, nothing has happened since, and due to the pandemic, many hopeful projects saw doors closing.

That said, chances are that fans won’t get a third season of Imposters. But hey, never say never!

Imposters was canceled without a proper conclusion, so there is more of the story to tell. Netflix may have its handsful at the moment as they prepare to debut a lot of new content this new year, so I don’t think the mystery drama is a priority, but it could be in the near future.

It wouldn’t be the first time Netflix saves a series canceled by its network. Two of the streaming titan’s most popular shows were canceled and picked up by Netflix: Lucifer and You

Fingers crossed Imposters is up next! We’ll be sure to keep you posted on any news.
