Curious who wins Survivor: Heroes vs Villains? Consider this a major spoiler alert.

Filmed on the beautiful island of Upolu, Samoa, Heroes vs Villains is a notable and memorable season for more reasons than one. Back in 2010, it was only the fourth season to feature contestants from past seasons.

On top of that, Entertainment Weekly ranked season 20 as the third-best Survivor season ever. And its high ranking tends to be agreed upon by critics and audiences alike. Although, not everyone agreed on who the winner should be and to this day, not everyone does now.

Now that Survivor: Heroes vs Villains is on Netflix, you might be wondering who came out victorious.

Who won Survivor season 20?

Winning it for the Villains, Sandra Diaz-Twine was the sole survivor of season 20. Most notably, history was made through her victory. As recapped in Gold Derby, Sandra was the first castaway to win for a second time. With two victorious seasons under her belt, she collected a cool $2 million.

After Sandra’s history making victory, many argued that the jury got this one wrong. According to Medium, Parvati Shallow was “the deserving winner.” On Medium’s list of winners wrongly chosen, Sandra came in at number one. Survivor recap after recap, this turned out to be a popular opinion.

But in contrast, those who agree that she was and is the rightful winner call Sandra “The Queen of Survivor” to this day. Thus far, the two-time Survivor champ has proudly held onto her title year after year, no matter what some of the critics have to say about it.
