1. How are people chosen for the game in Alice in Borderland?

Many people probably spent most of the season 1 wondering how to escape the game, but the one thing that every subscriber had to be thinking about several times throughout the enthralling first set of episodes is how are people chosen to enter the game. There does not seem to be any definite pattern constituting any particular reasoning everyone was thrust into this world of visas and Saw-like challenges. The main character Arisu was a gamer with no real motivation in life, and his partner Usagi is a survival enthusiast prepared for anything. Players in the game come from all walks of life, and each entered the game at a different random moment. It’s anyone’s guess at this point how candidates are chosen, and it will be interesting to see if this mystery is solved in Alice in Borderland season 2.
