Pieces of a Woman

We start with the movie that will have you sobbing throughout. Pieces of a Woman stars Vanessa Kirby in her most emotional role to date. She plays an expectant mother who has to deal with the worst loss a woman can go through: the death of her newborn baby.

While the whole movie doesn’t quite hold up to the intensity of the opening scenes, Kirby’s portrayal of this grieving woman who is just trying to get through life is more than worth sticking around for. She says so much without speaking. It’s a powerful performance.
