It goes without saying that Doctor Who is by far one of the most beloved science fiction series to ever grace our television screens, both stateside and across the pond. So what better way to start 2021 than a little Doctor Who binge session?

If you’re ready to stream the highly-buzzed-about revival (and its popular spin-offs) but not sure where to look, don’t fret, Whovians! We’ve got you covered. For those a little less familiar with this legendary BBC series, let’s go over the premise. Shall we?

What is Doctor Who about?

Starring Jodie Whittaker, Doctor Who follows the Thirteenth Doctor (a.k.a. another time lord) as she travels through time and space in her Tardis, come what may. Kooky, kind, and accompanied by her companions, the brainy extraterrestrial sets out to solve a plethora of new problems while continuously crusading for intergalactic justice all along the way. All in a day’s work, right?

The real question now is, where can we watch it?

Is Doctor Who streaming on Netflix?

Unfortunately, the series is not on Netflix. Currently, it is exclusively available for streaming on HBO Max. So if you’re in the mood for a really big binge session, the first 11 seasons of the BBC series await you there.

As noted by Nerdist, the original series ran from 1963-1989, but sadly, it’s not available for streaming. Not right now, anyway. As always, if anything changes and Doctor Who finds its cosmic way to Netflix (or any other streaming platform), we’ll be the first to let you know!
