What happens to Aisha in Cobra Kai season 3?

Aisha didn’t return in Cobra Kai season 3, but how did the writers handle her exit?

Aisha has been an excellent character in the world of Cobra Kai from day one. It’s no shock that her character was sorely missed in Cobra Kai season 3.

Aisha has always been the one to help balance the two dojos. While certainly a loyal member of Cobra Kai, she is also a friend to Sam. During the first season, she even tells Sam that Sam doesn’t have to join Cobra Kai, but it would be good to have another female in the sport.

So, when TVLine reported that Nichole Brown wouldn’t be in the third season, we were disappointed. The big question was how the show would handle her abrupt exit, especially when it wasn’t Brown’s choice.

Where is Aisha in Cobra Kai season 3?

The exit was handled quickly, and it was relatively understandable.

We quickly learn Aisha’s parents have moved away and put Aisha in private school. The high school fight at the end of Cobra Kai season 2 was enough for them to do what they thought was right to protect their daughter.

As a parent, I get it. That is the way many parents would react if they had the money to do so.

The good thing about this type of exit is that it doesn’t have to be permanent. We could see Aisha return in the future, maybe once high school is over.

Cobra Kai season 4 is definitely happening. Netflix renewed the series ahead of the third season release. We got to binge-watch all 10 episodes without worrying about unresolved storylines. And it doesn’t sound like this is the end of the line for the writers. It’s all in Netflix’s hands, but co-showrunner Josh Heald says that they are planning the long game and there are more stories to tell.

Hopefully, Aisha does return. Her presence was definitely missed throughout Cobra Kai season 3.
