As glad as we are to see the year 2020 end, it is sure taking a lot of great content with it! At the same time, we’re excited to watch the new Netflix shows being added to the streaming titan in January 2021.

The Office leaving Netflix is a huge, heartfelt loss. But, in reality, this was inevitable! As soon as NBC announced their streaming service, Peacock, many saw it coming. Still, it doesn’t make it any easier to accept.

Instead of being sad about The Office‘s departure, though, why not look forward to the many great shows Netflix has to offer in the month of January 2021? Specifically, the following 5 shows.

The Cobra Kai series first dropped on YouTube Premium before Netflix recognized its potential and moved it on over to its library of original content. The third season just dropped and it’s exactly what you need if you are avoiding inspirational New Year content.

History of Swear Words

This Netflix original features Nicolas Cage as the host, need I say more? I have missed seeing Nicolas Cage on-screen, I said what I said! And the concept of the series pretty much sums up what we’ll be seeing. This should be interesting, fun, and hey, it’s also educational!

Based on Leslie Kean’s book of the same name, Surviving Death follows the many investigations of the afterlife. Is an afterlife possible? If not, what happens after one dies? Many have been close to death or claim to have come back from death. Their stories and more are explored over six episodes

Fran Lebowitz is a New Yorker to the core who won’t ever sugarcoat a thing! She will tell you her opinion, as harsh as it may be, whether you ask for it or not. From what she thinks about the subway system to what is sold at Times Square. It’s fun and very entertaining, especially if you don’t know much about New York.
