The Office is leaving Netflix tomorrow

When is The Office leaving Netflix?
You are officially running out of time to watch The Office on Netflix. The hit series that has been the most popular show on Netflix for so long is leaving the streaming service on Jan. 1, 2021.
In other words, you only have today (Dec. 30) and tomorrow (Dec. 31) to watch The Office on Netflix before it leaves the streaming service.
Although it has not been confirmed by Netflix, The Office will likely be leaving the streaming service at midnight PT on New Year’s Day. So, as soon as the ball drops at midnight (PT), The Office will be removed from Netflix.
The Office isn’t going to be away from streaming for long though. While you won’t be able to watch the best comedy of the 2000s on Netflix, you will be able to watch the comedy series on Peacock, NBCU’s streaming service.
Peacock will add the first two seasons of The Office on Jan. 1 and make those available to viewers for free. All you have to do is sign up for a Peacock account – no need to add a credit card – and watch the first two seasons.
If you want to watch the other seven seasons of The Office on Peacock, you can do that on New Year’s Day, as well, but you need to pay for a Peacock subscription to make that happen.
Peacock will have the rights to the hit series for the next five years. It’s possible that The Office could return to Netflix after that, but it’s pretty unlikely. Peacock is clearly making the series the crown jewel of the streaming service, and they are banking on subscribers signing up simply to watch the popular comedy series.
We’ll let you know if there are rumors and rumblings about the series returning to Netflix. For now, you’ll have to watch as many episodes as you can before the series leaves Netflix.
