Black Mirror

Network: Netflix

Number of Seasons: Five

Why We’re Concerned: Hard as it might be to believe, the last installment of the Emmy-winning series dropped way back in 2019 and Netflix has yet to make any formal announcement about the show’s future since. While the series is labeled as being on an extended hiatus, there is only so long Netflix can leave the show in a state of limbo.

Final Verdict: We won’t rule out any future installments; however, it seems unlikely we’ll be getting a sixth season anytime soon.

Living With Yourself

Network: Netflix

Number of Seasons: One

Why We’re Concerned: After a successful debut in late 2019, there has been no news at all regarding the future of the Paul Rudd led comedy.

Final Verdict: With no news in 2020, it seems Netflix has unofficially canceled the series with no plans for a second season in the works.

Cheer

Network: Netflix

Number of Seasons: One

Why We’re Concerned: Like many Netflix shows, Cheer took the world by storm and became an overnight sensation with fans when it dropped in January 2020. The series became one of the most successful series of the year; however, in the months that followed the show became shrouded in controversy with several scandals surrounding the show which could prove too much to overcome.

Final Verdict: Given the controversy that has come about since the show’s launch, it’s looking less likely we’ll see a second season of Cheer. Should Netflix pick the show up for a second season, count on the show looking quite a bit different.
