It’s safe to assume that most subscribers caught their heavy hitters over the course of 2020 that dominated the headlines and the charts. Films like Mank, The Old Guard, and Extraction were nothing short of brilliant and were simply riveting from start to finish. Those Netflix movies have significant replay value. For those looking for some deep tracks they may have overlooked, then luckily, there are plenty to choose from in that department.

From super superhero endeavors to visually stunning animated affairs all the way to international works of art, there is no shortage of titles people need to stop sleeping on and sit down and experience next time they find themselves endlessly scrolling through Netflix’s massive library of content.

All subscribers should definitely remember that it is really nothing to be ashamed of if some of the fantastic flicks slipped by people unnoticed, but what isn’t okay is continuing to deprive oneself of great pieces of cinema.

Out of all the great movies that came out on the streaming service in 2020, we shared a list of good Netflix movies that you might have missed.

1. Project Power

There are so many superhero movies out there today that they are starting to all look like carbon copies of one another. Finding a decent title in this genre that doesn’t have a Marvel or DC logo in front of it can certainly be a daunting task, but fans should realize the two comic book powerhouses do not have a monopoly over the popular genre. Netflix has also ventured into this territory with a well-crafted film called Project Power. The intriguing ordeal stars Jamie Foxx, Joseph Gordon Levitt, and Dominique Fishback and contains a very enticing narrative.

Project Power’s remarkable story centers on a pill that can give a person X-Men level superpowers for a limited amount of time. The only downside is that not all of these abilities are controllable, and some who take it suffer insane overdoses. Project Power centers on a teenage dealer, local cop, and an ex-soldier who all come together to take down the nefarious individuals procuring and distributing this dangerous narcotic before things get really out of control. The entire affair is a pulse-pounding thrill ride jam-packed with some exceptional action making it one title subscribers should not sleep on.
