What are the best Netflix movies of 2020?

Many essential items may have run out in stores over the year 2020, but luckily, there was never a shortage of entertainment thanks to all the best Netflix movies, especially the Netflix dramas, this year.

The crime documentary and romantic comedy genres take center stage over at Netflix. It’s no secret that the streaming network changed the game for rom-coms and we won’t even get started on its chilling crime docs.

For a good mystery or fun laughs, Netflix has our back. But make no mistake, Netflix may have some of the best crime documentaries and romantic comedies across all networks and streaming services, but what we love about the streaming king is the variety it offers.

Hulu, Disney Plus, Apple TV Plus, and all others don’t always have something available for everyone. At Netflix, however, there’s so much it is even tough to find something to watch!

That said, there’s no question that Netflix has produced many great dramas this year! So many, in fact, that narrowing this list down to the top 5 was no easy task! Here they are in no particular order.

Best Netflix dramas of 2020: 5. Mank

The Netflix drama just makes the cut on this list as it is the most recent release (Dec. 4). Mank stars Gary Oldman, Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, and others. It seems to be popular among both critics and its viewers.

Mank follows Herman J. Mankiewicz, a troubled and alcoholic screenwriter struggling to finish writing Citizen Kane. Though this movie may not be for everyone, critics praise the talented cast and the pace of the story.
