3. Business School (season 3 episode 17)

Besides the Jim and Pam kiss episode, this is my favorite episode of all time. Not only does it finally give Ryan the comeuppance he deserves, but it also has the sweetest moment ever between Michael and Pam.

Despite my love for Jim and Pam, my favorite moment of the whole series is in this episode and it’s at the very end. Pam is all excited for her art exhibit but feels let down when the people from work who come either criticize it behind her back or just don’t get what she’s trying to do.

That all changes when Michael shows up and is in awe of her art. He even buys one of her drawings of the office and displays it on the wall It’s such a sweet moment and while it’s ruined a bit when Pam and Michael hug, it shows how sincere Michael can be.

And this is after Michael had a very bad day at Ryan’s business school. Ryan puts down Dunder-Mifflin and predicts it’s going to be obsolete which makes Michael very upset. He ends up punishing him by putting Ryan’s desk next to Kelly’s who Ryan used to date but now can’t stand.

This is also my favorite episode and one of the best because of the bat in the office. I have never laughed harder than when Jim convinces Dwight he was bitten by the bat and is now a vampire or when Dwight shoves a garbage bag over Meredith’s head when the bat lands there. It’s relatable and horrifying and hilarious.

All these elements together make this episode a classic.
