10 best Jim pranks on Dwight in The Office
There is no denying that The Office is one of the greatest shows ever to grace the small screen. Every episode is chock full of hilarious moments, but none of them are better than that of Jim Halpert’s legendary pranks against Dwight. The rivalry between these two Dunder Mifflin powerhouses is one for the ages, and while all of their altercations are nothing short of outstanding, the way Jim meticulously and brilliantly messes with Schrute on a constant basis is what puts the NBC series in The Hall of Fame status category.
The Office is leaving Netflix at the end of the month. Make sure you watch all of Jim’s great pranks on Dwight before it’s removed from the streaming service.
In the end, Jim and Dwight eventually become the best of friends, but before that happened, there so many times where Jim would do things that most of us could only dream of and would all most certainly be fired immediately for if some of these laughable ordeals were accomplished in reality.
It’s not like Dwight never got his coworker back every once in a while because he most assuredly did have his own moments of triumph over Jim. But Halpert reigned supreme when it came to the matters of pranks, and he may even have enough credibility in this department to take the mischievous title belt away from Dennis the Menace.
Over the course of nine incredibly entertaining seasons, so many of these epic events went down, resulting in some of the iconic series’ most memorable moments that fans are able to enjoy over and over again like it’s a first time. While there have been many pranksters on TV, Jim Halpert will always reign supreme as the best. Out of all his accomplishments in this field on The Office, here are ten that stand out as legendary.
10 best pranks from The Office
1. Jim’s stapler in Jello prank
The first prank fans of The Office ever got to witness was the infamous stapler in Jello bit from the pilot. That was the beginning of the epic saga of pranks between Jim and Dwight, with no one having any idea at the time how hilariously things would escalate as the series progressed. While there were many epic practical jokes concocted by Mr. Halpert over the years, everyone will always remember where it all started. Michael’s infamous World’s Best Boss mug also ends up in Jello, adding to the entire affair’s prestigious legacy.
2. Moving Dwight’s entire desk to the men’s room
In the cold open of the sixth episode of The Office’s excellent second season, “The Fight,” Dwight arrives at work to find his desk is missing. He accuses Jim, who claims to have no idea what happened, but as soon as Schrute goes for Michael’s office, Halpert indicates he is getting colder. When he moves aways towards the break room, he is told by Jim that he is getting warmer. Eventually, this leads Dwight to discover his desk in the Men’s room, where Dwight answers a call and reminds Kevin to wash his hands, who moment before emerged from a stall holding a burning indicating the presence of a less than stellar odor being very present.
