13. “I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.”

Many people never stop to think about how stitious they actually are but not Michael Scott. When Angela’s cat dies and Scott hits Meredith with his car, it’s understandable to think there is a curse at the cause of it all. But when it comes to being stitious, Michael is far from super into it, especially when he learns the blessing in disguise about Meredith’s rabies, making this a classic Michael quote.

14. “I learned a while back that if I do not text 911, people do not return my calls. Um, but people always return my calls because they think that something horrible has happened.”

David Wallace is a busy guy, but he isn’t above responding to an emergency, which is one of the reasons Michael can always get through to him. Most people think texting “911” is something that should be saved for the rare event that something awful happens, but Michael Scott believes it’s the best way to guarantee a response. To be fair, the guy isn’t wrong, and while it’s irresponsible, it is still effective, which kind of sums up the character.

15. “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. – Wayne Gretzky” – Michael Scott

If there is one thing the Michael Scott Paper Company will be remembered for is the quote that inspired them to take on Dunder Mifflin and eventually win. Michael never spoke this, but it did not matter as it was clear that he intended it to be his with massive letters he wrote in spelling his name eclipsing The Great One aka Wayne Gretzky and making it his own.
