Tiny Pretty Things comes to Netflix tonight

Netflix’s next adaptation of a popular book series is coming to the streaming service tonight in the form of the new series, Tiny Pretty Things. It’s based on a book series of the same name by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton.

If you liked Black Swan or Pretty Little Liars, you’re definitely going to want to check out this show too.

The series will come to Netflix at 3:01 a.m. ET on Monday, Dec. 14. Those on the west coast will get it at 12:01 a.m.

What is Tiny Pretty Things about?

Tiny Pretty Things follows three ballet dancers: Neveah, Bette, and June. They all go to an exclusive Manhatten ballet school and are among the top students there.

Neveah is the new girl who simply wants to dance and doesn’t want anything to do with the drama. Unfortunately,  she happens to be coming to the school after an attack on the most-accomplished student.

Bette is trying to get out from under the shadow of her sister and June must land the lead role in this year’s show or her mother will stop her from dancing ever again.

And all that doesn’t even get into the drama between the other dancers in the school. These dancers might just be willing to fight to the death for what they want and won’t let anyone get in their way. It’s no accident that a student has already been attacked.

This first season is 10 episodes and stars Kylie Jefferson, Casimere Jollette, Daniela Norman, Shaun Benson, Brennan Clout, Barton Cowperthwaite, Bayardo De Murguia, Damon J. Gillespie, Anna Maiche and Lauren Holly.

Whether you’ve read the books or not, if you love teen dramas or just drama in general, you need to check out this show when it comes to Netflix tonight.

If the show gets enough viewers, we could get another season and see the second book, Shiny Broken Pieces, on-screen as well. Fingers crossed!
