Schitt’s Creek is the top TV show of 2020 on the FanSided 250

It’s official, Schitt’s Creek fans! Schitt’s Creek has been recognized as the top TV fandom of 2020 on the FanSided 250, an annual ranking of the top 250 fandoms across sports and entertainment.

Schitt’s Creek is No. 1 in the TV category, topping hugely popular shows like The Bachelor/The Bachelorette, Stranger Things, The Mandalorian, Tiger King, Game of Thrones, and more.

The Schitt’s Creek fandom ranks No. 4 in the overall Entertainment category just behind The Child from The Mandalorian, also known as Baby Yoda, Taylor Swift, and Zendaya. I mean, almost no fandom can compete with the Fandalorians, ZSwaggers (the name has since been retired), and the Swifties.

In the overall ranking, Schitt’s Creek ranks No. 18, overall, behind LeBron James, The Los Angeles Lakers, Patrick Mahomes, Los Angeles Dodgers, and more.

This is such good news high praise for Schitt’s Creek, which ended its run on CBC, Pop TV and Netflix earlier this year. The sixth season was added to Netflix in October 2020. The series was the first show ever to sweep a full category at the Emmys. This show is so good!

While the show has always been great and popular, the show clearly reached new heights this year with the buzz from the Emmys and the show’s final season. More people are discovering the show and becoming fans, and that’s largely because you can watch the full series on Netflix right now.

Fans have also realized that Catherine O’Hara, who stars in Schitt’s Creek, also starred as Kevin’s mom in Home Alone. I thought this was obvious, but apparently, that was not the case.

If you haven’t seen Schitt’s Creek yet, you should check out the series on Netflix as soon as possible.

The series is joined on the 2020 FanSided 250 by a bunch of other Netflix shows and shows on Netflix, including Stranger Things, The Witcher, Ozark, GLOW, The Office, Riverdale, Tiger King, Supernatural, The Crown, The Walking Dead, and Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.
