HOME ALONE - Eight year old Kevin MacAllister (Macaulay Culkin) gets lost in the shuffle as his large, upper-middle class suburban family rushes to make a plane that will ferry them off to their Christmas vacation in France; Kevin, having been banished to an attic room as punishment, is subsequently forgotten. At first this is a dream come true, as for the first time in his young life he has no one to answer to but himself, and he takes full advantage of his newfound freedom, eating junk food and watching late-night horror flicks. But when the bumbling Wet Bandits Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern) target his house for a robbery, Kevin must step up to defend his home; he sets a maze of booby traps so elaborate that only an eight year old imagination could concoct them. It’s finally December, which means it’s officially time to start binge-watching your favorite holiday flicks. Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, and Catherine O’Hara reprise their roles from Home Alone in the 1992 film Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

Kevin McCallister is back and his family is once again preparing for vacation. After Kevin accidentally boards a plane to New York City, he is once again separated from his family and left to fend for himself. Kevin ends up staying at the Plaza Hotel, where he has all kinds of adventures. Home Alone 2 features several NYC landmarks, including Rockefeller Center. The sequel is also the subject of a hilarious John Mulaney joke.

Is Home Alone 2: Lost in New York available on Netflix?

Unfortunately, Home Alone 2 is not available to stream on Netflix. However, you can watch Catherine O’Hara as the one and only Moira Rose on Schitt’s Creek, all seasons of which are available on the streaming platform.

You can see Joe Pesci star alongside Robert De Niro and in the Netflix original movie The Irishman. There are currently no films that feature Macaulay Culkin available on Netflix.
