There are so many good Netflix shows coming in December 2020

Do you know what you’ll be watching on Netflix in the month of December? There is plenty of fun, drama, and laughs headed your way, but we have narrowed down your options to the top five.

What do you enjoy watching the most on Netflix? Are you a subscriber for the crime documentaries? The fun romantic comedies? Or do you just enjoy a little bit of everything. Whatever the case, Netflix has the most variety from all other streaming services.

From mystery, comedy, and one of the most anticipated series of the year, Netflix has a lot in store. Did you expect any less from the streaming titan? I sure didn’t! This is the final month of the year, let’s see if Netflix has been saving the best for last.

5 good Netflix shows to watch in December 2020

1. Alien Worlds

Premiering on Dec. 2, Alien Worlds is a 4-part series that documents the discoveries of astronomers over the last two decades. If you are in alien documentaries and theories, you’ll very much enjoy Alien Worlds. 

2. The Great British Bakin Show: Holidays

On Dec. 4, get into the holiday spirit with The Great British Baking Show: Holidays on Netflix. If you have watched The Great British Baking Show, it’s pretty much the same thing, except this is all about holiday treats and goodies! And if you are new to the baking competition series, you are in for a treat — literally and figuratively!

3. Selena: The Series

The series finally debuts on Dec. 4, and it is one of the most anticipated shows of the year. The Queen of Tejano Music is getting another biopic in the form of a series. This time, audiences will follow Selena as a young girl growing up in Texas. She has big dreams and we’ll be able to follow her journey from a different lens than before.

4. Detention

Premiering on Dec. 5, Detention follows Yunxiag Liu, a new transfer student at Greenwood High School. The show takes place in the 1990s and sees Yunxiang encounter a ghost that unveils the hidden history of the town, particularly the school’s dark past.

5. Tiny Pretty Things

On Dec. 14, don’t miss Tiny Pretty Thingsbased on the book of the same name by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton. The series focuses on an elite ballet academy that is extremely competitive. The dance school teaches all walks of life, poor and rich, as they all share a passion for dance.

You’ll also want to catch Bridgerton on Christmas Day and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina part 4 on New Year’s Eve.
