Is The Holiday on Netflix?

Featuring the talents of Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jack Black, and Jude Law, The Holiday is one of my favorite romantic comedies to watch this time of year. With a unique plot, relatable characters, and a great script, the film is a slam dunk.

The Holiday takes place around Christmastime in California and England. Amanda Woods (Diaz) is a hot-shot movie trailer producer living in Los Angeles. Although she loves her job, Amanda’s love life goes up in flames after her boyfriend Ethan cheats on her.

Meanwhile, across the pond, columnist Iris Simpkins is having an equally terrible time. Iris is still in love with her ex-boyfriend/boss and is devastated when he announces his engagement. Both Iris and Amanda decide they want to get away for the holidays and find each other on a house-swapping website. They agree to switch houses for the next two weeks. The movie only gets better from there.

Is The Holiday available to watch on Netflix?

There are a ton of great holiday movies on Netflix but, unfortunately, The Holiday is not one of them. However, there are a ton of movies available on the streaming platform that feature the actors in The Holiday.

You can watch Cameron Diaz in Bad Teacher, My Best Friend’s Wedding, The Green Hornet, Being John Malkovich, and Shrek’s Swamp Stories. You can catch Kate Winslet in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, A Little Chaos, and Steve Jobs. If you’re a fan of Jack Black, then you’ll be happy to know that Nacho Libre, The Polka King, and a variety of Kung Fu Panda specials are all on Netflix. You can see Jude Law in Enemy at the Gates, Black Sea, and Anna Karenina.
