5 good Netflix shows to watch this weekend, including Virgin River
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving, even though things probably looked a little different. Now the relaxing weekend is upon us, and how you need to find some good Netflix shows to binge. Netflix offers up many original series to keep you entertained this weekend.
The top five Netflix shows this weekend are listed below.
Virgin River season 2
The second season of Virgin River was recently released, and it is now sitting at the number one spot for TV shows on Netflix’s top 10 list.
The series is based on novels by Robin Carr and joins Netflix’s growing list of book adaptations. Fans of the series have been waiting for the release of the second season.
Melinda “Mel” Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) is a nurse practitioner who needs a new start in life. She moves to Virgin River, California, a remote town that seems ideal for a place to start fresh.
The series also stars Martin Henderson, Colin Lawrence, Jenny Cooper, Lauren Hammersley, Annette O’Toole, Tim Matheson, Benjamin Hollingsworth and Grayson Gurnsey.

The Queen’s Gambit
This series has taken off, and fans can’t get enough of it. The Queen’s Gambit follows chess prodigy Beth Homan (Anya Taylor-Joy) and her quest to become a chess master.
This series has put the game of chess into the forefront of pop culture. People are buying chess games in record numbers, and this series is one of the best Netflix originals ever. Viewership is through the roof, and the book the series is based on finds itself back on the New York Times bestsellers list 37 years after its initial release.

The Crown
Season 4 of The Crown has been long-awaited by fans and hasn’t disappointed.
The long-awaited introduction of Princess Diana (Emma Corrin) was everything it should have been. Diana was dubbed the People’s Princess by former Prime Minister Tony Blair because people felt she was a giving person who cared about the people of the UK.
This series will have a fifth and sixth season, which will be the last. Fans are excited to see what will come next, but there will be quite a wait for the additional seasons.
This entire series gives you a great history lesson of the British Royals as well as being excellent entertainment with the outstanding casting.
The Great British Baking Show
This series has new episodes weekly, and even though the newest season of The Great Britsh Baking Show was released back in September, it still finds itself on the top ten list of Netflix shows.
Judge’s Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will again be the voices of who will be the greatest baker, and they will again be joined by Noel Fielding, who serves as the show’s host. This season Fielding will have a co-host in Matt Lucas.
This season we will see twelve new bakers try their hand at becoming the best British baker.
This is always a great one to binge.
Boss Baby: Back in Business
This series is based on the characters from the wildly popular Baby Boss movie, which is loosely based on the book of the same name by Marla Freeze. Baby Boss: Back in Business is a series in its fourth season that was released recently on Netflix.
This series follows the boss baby and his accomplice Tim, who is his older brother. They try to balance family life as well as his job at the Baby Corp. headquarters.
A fun series for the whole family.
