This is your last call to watch Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse on Netflix

Netflix giveth and Netflix taketh. It’s your last call for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse on Netflix.

As the full list of movies and shows arriving to Netflix came, so did the list of exits. The animated Spider-Man movie is one of the big exits on the list.

You’v got until Dec. 24 to watch the movie. That’s right, it is leaving on Christmas Day. Make it your Christmas Eve movie with the kids while everyone waits for it to head to another streaming platform.

Right now, we don’t know where it’s going to be available to stream. As Sony still owns the movie, there’s no guarantee that Disney Plus will get it like the Marvel movies that exit Netflix. It could head anyway, although Amazon Prime Video’s list did not include it.

The best Spider-Man movie ever?

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is probably the best Spider-Man movie to be created, and not just because it gave us the first non-white Spidey.

It’s an inclusive movie for so many other reasons. It also offered a chance to see multiple versions of Spider-Man together with a well-thought-out and well-written reason to combine the worlds.

We’re still waiting for any news about sequels. While many would love more from this universe, nothing has happened yet. And in a way, that’s a good thing. The potential sequels and TV show spinoffs aren’t happening just for the sake of it but when there is a story to tell. That always creates a better series or movie.

If you somehow missed the movie when it was in theaters or all the time it’s been on Netflix, now is the time to check it out. It’s a movie for the entire family.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is leaving Netflix on Dec. 25, 2020.
