When will Supernatural leave Netflix?

Supernatural is currently available to stream on Netflix. The final episodes will land on the streamer next week.

You’ll be able to binge-watch all 15 seasons, all 327 episodes very soon. You’ve got time to do it, but eventually Supernatural will leave Netflix.

Netflix only licenses the content. It gained the show when The CW and Netflix entered into a deal that saw full seasons land on Netflix eight days after their finales. This helped to boost the audience for a number of shows like Riverdale and All American. It also helped new fans find shows like Supernatural, which started back in 2005.

While new CW shows aren’t joining Netflix, the ones that were already there entered a legacy deal. That means they’d be around until their series finales and then for some time after that.

The Winchesters will eventually leave Netflix

How long with the Winchesters be available to stream on Netflix? How long have you got to binge-watch the series with your subscription?

You’ll have about five years. According to What’s On Netflix, that’s about how long it’s taking for The CW shows to leave the streamer.

That means you’ve got until around November 2025.

However, keep in mind that sometimes it’s only three years from the series finale. In other cases, it has been seven years. It’s hard to say exactly how long you have.

There will be a 30-day warning when the episodes are being removed.

Where will Supernatural go after?

Once the episodes leave Netflix, where will you have to go to stream them? There are strong chances that the show will head to HBO Max, which is where CharmedBatwoman, and Nancy Drew are all currently available to stream.

Warner Bros. owns the series. It makes sense to keep the episodes on its own streaming service.

However, Warner Bros. could opt for a licensing deal with another network. It is a popular series, after all. Look out for Peacock, Amazon Prime Video, or even Hulu to get the rights to stream the show.

We’ll let you know when the show is going to leave Netflix and where it will go once we have more details.
