Is Love Actually on Netflix?

When Love Actually premiered in 2003, it became an instant Christmas classic. But will it be among the Netflix movies you can watch during the holidays this year?

Sadly, no. Love Actually was among the movies that left Netflix in January 2019, and it’s not one the movies coming back in December 2020. Not yet, anyway. (However, there will be a lot of great new movies and shows on Netflix in December.)

What is Love Actually about?

Love Actually is about love, actually. All facets of it. Unrequited love, lost love, new love, betrayed love, young love and everything in between.

Specifically, it’s about eight couples navigating relationships during the busy holiday season.

Colin (Kris Marshall) heads to America on a quest to find “American babes.”

Judy (Joanna Page) strikes up an awkward relationship while working on a set with John (Martin Freeman).

Sarah (Laura Linney) is attracted to a co-worker, but duty to, and the love of, her brother finds her sacrificing pursuing a deeper connection.

Pop singer Billy Mack (Bill Nighy) chose to marry his career but comes to realize that while the resurrection of his stardom is nice, the lifelong friendship he’s formed with his manager, Joe (Gregor Fisher), is what’s most important.

Widower Daniel (Liam Neeson) is facing his first Christmas alone as a single father to Sam (Thomas Brodie-Sangster), who is smitten with his first love, schoolmate and fellow Christmas pageant performer, Joanna (Olivia Olson).

Karen (Emma Thompson) has to contend with betrayed love when she discovers her husband (Alan Rickman) is having an affair.

Mark (Andrew Lincoln) reveals to his unrequited love for newlywed Juliet (Keira Knightley), the wife of his best friend, Peter (Chiwetel Ejiofor).

Last but not least there’s the fairytale romance storyline with Natalie (Martine McCutcheon) finding love with her employer and Prince Charming, the Prime Minister (Hugh Grant).

Where you can stream Love Actually

Since you can’t stream it on Netflix, where can you watch Love Actually if you don’t own it and are looking for a feel-good holiday fix?

It’s available to rent on YouTube, iTunes, Google Play, Vudu and Amazon.

It doesn’t look like it is available to watch cable or satellite yet, but once it is, you should be able to watch with FuboTV.
