5. Stranger Friends

Pitch: Friends meets Fringe

Growing up is an inevitable part of life, and after three incredibly riveting seasons, everyone’s favorite Netflix characters are getting older and are almost ready to venture out on their own. Trying to navigate adulthood is hard enough as it is, what with dating and finding a career, but throw in constant inter-dimensional and paranormal disturbances, and that would probably make an intriguing and entertaining Stranger Things spinoff. What if the franchises favorite dynamic duos lived in two apartments across from one another, and in the process of figuring out life, they have to solve different Upside Down related issues on a regular basis.

Friends was a super popular series mostly because of the personalities featured on the show, so if one was to take the same concept and throw in Steve, Robin, Jonathan, Nancy, Mad Max, and Lucas, all signs point to a magnificent success. But that’s not all, as each iteration will be equal parts comedic sitcom and Fringe-style sci-fi mystery, making it something every Stranger Things fan can get behind. Stranger Friends would undoubtedly be a streaming sensation filled with life lessons and edge of your seat thrills following the Netflix originals fan-favorites attempts to navigate a rightsize up the world while not being brought down by the upside-down.
