Stranger Things season 4 set photos

We’re starting to learn more and more about Stranger Things season 4 on Stranger Things Day 2020.

Stranger Things just shared the first set photos from season 4 on social media. We shared the tweet of the photos below.

In the photos, you can see Caleb McLaughlin, who stars as Lucas, in between takes. He has a new look in season 4 and killer flattop!

We also got to see Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington, the fan favorite, Sadie Sink, and Gaten Matarazzo. The photos aren’t crystal clear, so we can’t quite see everything, but all have slightly different looks in season 4.

It appears Keery is wearing a jean vest! Overall, Sink and Matarazzo look pretty similar to their season 3 looks.

Stranger Things season 4 is filming in Georgia currently. Production restarted there at the end of September after it was shut down way back in March.

After seeing David Harbour as Jim Hopper in the teaser that was shared on Valentine’s Day, we hadn’t seen any official photos or videos of the cast of season 4. There have been some set photos that leaked online, but those weren’t official.

We still haven’t seen Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, or Winona Ryder yet in any official photos from behind the scenes. We’re anxiously awaiting those to land soon!

Production on Stranger Things season 4 moves to New Mexico in December. It’s unclear if production in Georgia will wrap before that point or if they’ll continue filming there and in New Mexico.

Hopefully, production will finish sometime in the near future. Then, we’ll get a better idea when Stranger Things season 4 will be released.

Right now, we’re expecting to see the new season on Netflix near the end of 2021, maybe fall or winter. Production has to finish before we learn anything about the release date, though.

The longer production lasts, the longer we’ll have to wait for the release date.
