North Dakota: Leslie Bibb

Okay, North Dakota, stick with me for this one. There is a connection between North Dakota and Stranger Things, but it’s going to take a bit of explaining to get to it. Here we go,

The actress, Leslie Bibb, is from Bismarck, North Dakota and not only has she been in a bunch of Netflix movies, including The Babysitter: Killer Queen, The Babysitter, and To the Bone, she’s also played Princess Buttercup in the TV mini-series of The Princess Bride.

Not the original Princess Bride, but that’s not the point here. She played alongside Chris Pine, Nicholaus Braun, Sara Cooper, Jack Black, and Sam Rockwell.

Who else had a role in The Princess Bride (not the same one, but whatever)? Cary Elwes! And Cary Elwes was in season 3 of Stranger Things as Mayor Larry Kline. Boom! There is your seven degrees of Kevin Bacon connection between North Dakota and Stranger Things.

Back to Leslie Bibb! Besides The Babysitter movies and the Princess Bride mini-series, she also appeared in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Lost Husband, and American Housewife.

Maybe one day, she’ll star in Stranger Things and this connection between The Peace Garden State will be a whole lot easier to make. But that doesn’t make Leslie Bibb’s accomplishments any less great. She was in two Iron Man movies! That’s cool on its own!
